Well the yeti took the practical approach.

However sometimes you just need to do things for the hell of it and for fun.

Just grab the yeti by his tow rope and he will follow you anywhere.

Well, ran out of daylight again so I didn't get much done on the Registry, however, as you might guess.... the new gig is going well. Need to take a break today from the new gig, so I should get some more added to the pages tonight

had a very productive weekend....

1 project off the loom completed, the next one is in the process of going on (Strawberry Wine)

Got a great deal done on the New Registry. There was far less Vipers and Viper Trucks submitted than I was hoping for. This week, I just start using the ones I want. Going to be a good week, lots to do... keeps me out of trouble

The base pages are almost done. From there I've decided to add a secondary page for the additional data instead of trying to cram it all on one page...

Do you have any samples of what the secondary pages will look like yet?

Been working on the data pages and now have a lot of them done. Still finding some data and have a few pages left to start. Gen V, Gen I and Gen II are up, Gen III 9which includes the Viper Trucks) and Gen IV in Work. A lot of work done, just doesn't seem like much when looking at it LOL

ViperJeff

The breakdown for wheels and tires for the Vipers (all years) are done, now to get it updated to the web pages

ViperJeff

Registry has been flying the last few days. Got a great deal done. As I have a few days off in the coming week, I should be able to get some of the web pages updated.

Also, thanks to Andy, I have the build sequence for the 2004 Viper Trucks. Wow, it's been an eye opener. Wait til people learn that the Build sequence is far different that the build numbers assigned by Dodge. OK, nothing new. We've seen the same thing with the SE Viper Trucks and well as a lot of the Viper SE Groups.

The compiling of data continues and quite frankly, it's been a lot of fun. I just don't work at this kind of stuff as hard when the weather is great and being outside is so much more fun. Now it's ice and snow, and if I still skied, well, that would be another story, however, my knees have taken all the beating they can take and still last for the next 80 years of my life.... unless I'm like Andy and live to be 1,024,325,254,454,362,102,176 years of age. Not sure I will last that long

Anywho

make it a great day
Cheers

Still haven't decided if and when I will start the 2015MY. I know I should, I know I should.

ViperJeff

I got quite a bit done yesterday. I'm probably a day away from finishing the most detailed breakdown of the 2014 Viper(ok, I'm the only one with a breakdown). If this works out well, I will apply it to the Viper Trucks and the rest of the Vipers. For me, it just makes me grin, hope others will find a use for it. It is part of the thing I really can't talk about yet

I hate secrets, but leaks make it more fun

The two Wiki's (Viper Truck Wiki & Viper Wiki) have been taken offline

The Viper Truck Registry & Viper Registry data is now all here:
http://www.vipertruckregistry.com/
Jeff

ViperJeff

For those that have visited the new Registry you will see a lot of the things here have now been incorporated into the site. It is not meant to replace this site as I will still use this site for research and other resources....

However, as Vipers\Viper Trucks become registered, they will all at one point be loaded up on the ViperTruckRegistry.com. Lots of things in the works and a number of pages may go away as new pages take there place.

2015MY Vipers are off to a great start, working of the first 80 or so now on the registry. Going to try and keep up with the production and get them added monthly. I think there has been 100 or so already built and shipped to dealers. Looks like based on those numbers, they are building 3-4 a day as opposed to the 7-9 a day for the 2014's

Have a Great Day

Alrighty..............

Well, I guess I've goofed around enough. Time to get back on the loom and get some more work done... 20 yards to go. Last night I also go busy documenting again. Trying to finish up the Gen III Vipers and Viper Trucks. It was much easier last night, Guess my eye's have cache dumped all that data I was seeing over and over. Got a few more web pages done. Also working on the Color chart 1992-2015 to include both the Vipers and Viper trucks.

This week The plan is also to get the build sequence for the 2004 Viper Trucks posted up. Still working on a better way to load up these long lists. Break them up into lists of 500 or so. Need to get the pages to load just a little faster.

Going to be a short week, lots to do and just not enough time (I say that a lot).

Guess we'll see just what I can get done

Oh...... and before anyone asks, the build numbers and build sequence are not the same thing. As it appears that the build numbers are not exactly in build sequence order, however, they are much better that what happened with the two drunks and a clip board that numbered the VCA's, CE's, YF's and NR's...... And the Vipers, well, those two same drunks might have consulted.

Didn't get as much done as I had hoped, struggling with a 4mm kidney stone....

back to work on the sequence numbers today while I'm home trying to pass it

not

2004 Sequence numbers are done....

Now for the hard part.... building some pages

ViperJeff
02-12-2015, 08:57 AM
Well, back to work today, still hurting a bit. Should be an interesting day

All that time home and I couldn't muster the energy to work on anything

Next thing on the plate is the same as the last thing I was going to do. need to get 2004MY Viper Trucks web pages updated with the build sequence numbers

damn.... I'm tired
Jeff

ViperJeff
02-12-2015, 01:17 PM
Wonderful news, just passed two more pieces of the kidney stone......

Things are looking up

ouch!!!!

ViperJeff

Trying to find a reason to keep this site up

Andy, I can just email you the lists, sooooooooooo

The thought is, dump the site, move the viperregistry.com back under my control and just build static web pages. So if you're coming in to do research and never posting, this might be a good time to speak up as this is on a very short time frame

We can do that if that is what you choose to do. It has been pretty dead in here lately.

ViperJeff
02-13-2015, 09:05 AM
yea, I went back and looked at the statistics...... If I was to subtract out You, I and the old55...... we would be at 2

Just know the work on the registry is strong, hell, I might even have an article in print this year. might have to buy two copies, one to read and one to put away.

VPRPWRD
02-16-2015, 09:48 AM
Sounds like you should take the forum down. As much as it pains me.

ViperJeff
02-16-2015, 10:31 AM
Yea....

I have made great strides on www.vipertruckregistry.com. I've got the Viper Registry (http://www.vipertruckregistry.com/ViperRegistryIndex.html) index done and have a few hundred more on the Viper Truck Registry Index (http://www.vipertruckregistry.com/ViperTruckRegistryIndex.html), then I can start building individual pages. I've got a lot to get done this year, but man, things are movin along fast.

I've figured out what I need to do with the long lists, just haven't done them yet.... I need 4 hands and at least two that work well, these hands are wearing out.

I've had one other suggestion for this site that I'm considering. Reduce it down to just a few forums and get rid of all the research stuff. Which means I would just make them invisible to the public, Mods and Admins would still see them and have access. If people post, great, if not, it just sits.

VPRPWRD
02-17-2015, 06:43 AM
That works too. I'll still visit every week day, I usually stay off the forums on the weekends since I'm away from the computer.

ViperJeff
02-18-2015, 08:35 AM
Started the trim down yesterday, should have a bit more done today. Got a great deal done yesterday with the 2006 Viper First Edition. Kind of fun seeing these special edition groups come together

ViperJeff
02-19-2015, 09:04 AM
Reorganization completed, added Active Users to the main page. When it hits 1, that will be the answer to the question.

Got a lot of work done in the last few days for the Viper Truck Registry web pages. Here in the next few days, it looks like I'll be going through another round of updates. It's going to be a busy week...end

ViperJeff
02-19-2015, 09:30 AM
Oh Andy, All the research has been moved to the Staff Section. You should be able to see the list your working on under The Super Mod Forum, everything else I moved to the upload forum. There is no longer any research data in the pubic forum as it will all be part of the web pages in the coming months

ViperJeff
02-23-2015, 10:02 AM
So it was a weekend of racing, didn't do much.....

Got to finish a project on the loom and then back to work creating web pages. I would like to also thank the Viper Club, man, has there involvement opened things up

I just figured things were good at work and they were lined up down the street because all that frozen weather killed cars of those who don't take care of them.... :D

ViperJeff

Started adding ACR (Competition Group) details to the Registry. This will take some time.
http://www.vipertruckregistry.com/GenII/Registry1999.html

I decided not to use the "ACR" because in the early years, of the ACR, it wasn't really clear in the data that I have

The Viper Registry: http://www.vipertruckregistry.com/ViperRegistryIndex.html and the Viper Truck Registry: http://www.vipertruckregistry.com/ViperTruckRegistryIndex.html are coming along great. Slowly getting things added and I may be way behind schedule, however, I'm making pretty decent progress.

Thanks to Andy, build dates are coming along well, going to be a hell of a list folks
Jeff

ViperJeff

ViperJeff

Got a lot more done today, nervous energy I guess. Damn, need to get this house sold and move north

ViperJeff
03-27-2015, 08:12 AM
Did some fine tuning of some pages and worked on the data sheets for the Viper trucks. As soon as I can get all packed up and ready to move, I'll see if I can carve out the time to finish working on the 2004 build sequence. I feel like I've been working on it for a year and just keep getting distracted with other things.

Will probably start adding some model year data to the Vipers after I more. Some interesting stuff there

Even though the Registry is for sale, the work continues.

ViperJeff
04-12-2015, 07:36 PM
