Default I'm now a Viper owner

Jeff is aware, but I bought myself a retirement gift. After 36 years of hard work I deserved it. Karen wanted me to wait until she got her new house all fixed and decorated, but it was too good to pass up.

It's a 2005 that had 6654 miles on it when I picked it up for a little under $45K.

So think about that sweetheart when you are thinking of selling the Queen. Even low mileage Vipers are cheap. That may change here in the future since 2017 is the last year, but I'm going to drive mine and enjoy it.

So starting tomorrow morning the movers are packing the truck and then I drive it and towing Karen's car down to Prescott. I'm taking one of the cats with me, and then Karen flies down on Saturday evening with the other two cats. She then stays there.

I fly back on the 26th and continue working until our house here sells. Considering the market here, that should not take long. If all goes well August 31st will be my last day of work.

Oh, here is a link to the Viper. I did not buy it from Park Place, but they had the best pictures of it when they sold it last September. Guy bought it, kept it for 8 months and put a couple hundred miles on it is all. Go figure. My guess is it was a little too primitive for him. Hell, after the Cobra this thing is like a luxury car to me.

Take care everyone and you will be seeing a little more of me in the future.

Actually son we are moving to Prescott which is at 5600 feet elevation. I was checking today, out weather is not that much different than what you get in Jerome.

I enjoy summers here, winters aren't too bad, but it does get really cold from time to time

I will be checking in more often after I retire and get moved. Right now I'm living in an empty house and just have my laptop sitting on the kitchen counter.

Hopefully only 5 more weeks to go at the most.

Well the house deal we had fell through.

We were dealing with nervous first time buyers and a home inspector that was over zealous to say the least. He even made up things to impress the buyers at how good of a job he was doing. Fucking bastard blew the sale for us.

So the house is back on the market and there is no way I will be able to retire by August 31st. However I'm not sticking around this festering shit hole longer than the end of September. If the house sells by then, fine. If not I can fly back for the paperwork, or they can FEDEX the paperwork to us in Arizona for our signatures.

So, overall yesterday was a real shitty day for me.

that is jacked up! Home inspectors are not supposed to do more than their job. If I were selling a home, I would order a home inspection before I listed it so I could get an idea of what may need done. They have that service here in Kali anyway.

Keep moving forward, there is another buyer
