You've had a career and have been successful (in it) to the point where (now after doing well in your field) you're approaching the age of retirement.

I've had several careers, none of them a rousing success (except Life Medical) . I've lost virtually everything in the real estate crash, I'm forced to retire and I'm going on social security in the hope of saving my fucking house. I am unemployable due to my resume' and life experience... the only job that's open to me is selling used cars or bagging groceries at Trader Joe's.... THAT'S IF I dumb down my personna to about the level of George "Goober" Lindsay. (yeah, I know..."who's that?")

That's how foreign it is... to me..... to my own life's experience.

You've placed your question precariously in time. And I'm not sure I understand it.

If your asking me if I had it all to do over would I change anything. Sure, who wouldn't?

Still, I'm not certain as to the question.

Anyone who could back n' unfuck everything could serve to fuck things up even worse in so doing.... who's to say?

I'm just saying we've tread different paths is all.

Until I met Lynette, having a full time job in sales was the last thing I wanted t' do.

I've worked 10 years in one industry, 25 years in another and 15 in yet another.

The idea of looking forward to a pension after many years of service to one company is amazing. 'Specially cuz I know how not corporate you are. You'd rather tell the upstart little fucks in the world to piss off and let the pros work.

Our lives and careers have been quite different, that's all.
