I think you should immediately pack it up and ship to me! (for a fair price). Look's like Gretch's answer to the 175.

Finally, the clouds part to reveal the true sky.

This is a Gretsch New Jet from 2001. It is number 13 in the build sequence. The 5114 in the middle is of no real significance that the experts can divine. It is apparently quite rare and is built by the best builders in Japan. Which, according to the experts is of excellent workmanship and overall quality. Much better than the American made Gretschs.

I put custom wound (Tom) TVJones pickups in it to replace the production ones.

These guitar, according to George Gruhn's Gretsch afficiando (LLoyd) is valued at about 2500 all day long.... This is due to its rarity, it's great build quality and it's condition. (Minimum grade 9.5 plus). All my shit is tight.

No stool softener jokes, please.

So, having recently moved, I have unpacked all my stuff..I recently went on a hunt for a new effects unit, and was looking at the Boss ME-70... Not sure about it though..saw one that you stick an ipad in and uses that as a virtual effects unit..kinda cool..was looking at amps as well..I have a Randall stack, but it tends to bother the wife when I turn it up a bit...thinking about a Princeton, or a Marshall combo, although I like the Line 6 stuff too..
In no rush to buy anything..went on a virtual shopping spree at Zzounds to see what a new Tele, amp and effects would cost..I was up around 4k in no time..I always wanted a PRS Santana, so I might just get one someday soon..I just can't seem to press the buy button at 2500.00 or so..lol

I have a gorgeous Certified Player PRS that I'm willing to part with.

It's a 20th Anniversary McCarty with birds. It's not decked out with the abalone like the Santana, but I bet it sounds better. I've posted info and piks here before. But, if you don't recall, here's some piks. It's a gorgeous natural flametop and (of course) it has our pal Josh Lollars custom wound P90 pickups. They're to die for in the ears. Sometimes it sounds like a Steinway.

I'm asking 1600. Condition is 9 out'a 10 cuz it has a tiny chip in the nitro behind one if the horns. You'd probably never notice it.

Here's the piks. The rest'a you fuckers eat yer hearts out.....

Some 6 string porn for cousin Jo-jo.

Here's my latest ..... This is a marriage made in heaven, a figured ash top 336, tubed out mahogany bod, that resonates for a month, coupled with this tweed amp. YEAH BABY!
