I'd like to find my grandpa's Viper one day.

My grandfather bought a '96 GTS for my grandmother in '98, with 200 miles on it. We took it to car shows, talked about it a lot, and took great care of it. When he passed away, it never got driven more than a handful of times. My grandmother told me it would be in the will to me, but if she had to sell it, she would.

My grandmother is a heavy gambler, and unfortunately had to sell it, even requesting my help to do so. She sold it around 2010, with around 1,543 miles on it.

It was a blue/whi GTS, #200972.

Ultimately, I'd love to know where it is, and maybe somehow get it back someday.

I've already pulled Carfax, and that gave me nothing, as the last record is a 07/22/2009 renewal from when my grandmother owned it.

First time I saw it when they bought it 07/1999

Appreciate it. I just feel that with the miles on it a collector might have bought it, and might post in a registry, so I figured I'd give it a shot.

Do you have the full vin #? I can pull some information with that and see if I can pinpoint a location on it.

Andy, if he doesn't come on today, I'll PM you the full VIN tonight. I have it in my cross reference list at home

Where was the car originally from? The most recent information I can find is the car was in Bradenton, FL at some point. I have no way of determining a time line on this information. I also have an owner name but unfortunately I can't share that information.
