That's a great idea Jeff. Will you have different versions available for the owner to choose, similar to the dash plaques?

What do you mean by different versions

Similar to the way you have different styles of dash plaques, will there be different styles of certificates?

The only difference would be the background picture of the Viper or Viper truck would be that of the owner is the only difference. Are you thinking there should be other variations? Examples?

For example a different color scheme for different colored trucks. A blue border for CEs and VCAs, a yellow one for YF, etc. or different color letters, just something that may give it a more personalized touch. You are the designer and know how much work it would take to make something like that happen, so if it doesn't or wouldn't work, it won't hurt my feelings. :D

I like them all, Yellow and Silver could be interesting because they're lite. Guess we will see what happens.

I'm also looking at doing it for a small fee (7 bucks or so, printed and mailed, mabe an email version for 4 bucks). Right now there isn't a whole lot of interest so the small changes for different needs would be do-able. I've printed off a few and I'm still on the fence. The other thought is to only use the logo for the year produced, so for the truck, the entire boarder would be "Fangs". I'm also leaning pretty heavy to do landscape and not prortrait.

Right now I think it looks to much like a flyer, so ........ still thinking

So any suggestions, thoughts likes dislikes are all good at this point because there is nothing set in stone

Looks good Jeff, I just need to have a more scenic picture. But you are on to something.

If I did it right, as the color of the truck changes, I can change the color of the lettering and border to match

Oh, And it say's i registered a 2005,But the build date is 04. Anywho i see what your sayin. Some owners have great scenic shots so that should work out fine, Keep on keepin on.:cheers:

Think I have down the plan....

Need several more sample trucks (different color than silver)

Post up the picture you want me to use... no mulligans

Must be 800 x 600 or bigger anything smaller will not even be considered (600 x 800 would be a FAIL)

This is where is all comes to play on whether this is worth it, getting all the colors and Samples done

I'll email you the final tonight, still experimenting with a few things and haven't really decided on cost. I've learned that pictures will be problematic. If everyone uses a graphic from JimTeTe or HAZMAN, it will work very well. Using a picture that is 800 x 600 seems to be just about perfect for a 11 x 8.5 landscape certificate.
