If I want my vin part of the registry, I have to pay a fee? Just asking....no problem... Thanks Jeff.

ViperJeff 01-25-2013 11:48 AM

No!

No one is required to pay to be added to the Registry. I will add and maintain anyone for free. Anyone that Registers a Viper or Viper truck, I actually remove the VIN from the web site to help maintain privacy unless the owner doesn't care and adds it themselves.

However...

The history portion of the of the board requires that one be a contributor. I've set up a number of different levels so if someone wants to do a quick search over a month time frame they can (and it's like 5 bucks). Is what a lot of you are seeing, is I have also added the ability for me to give new registrations a 30 day trial if you will so they can see what everything is about. I've also done that with people who have been here for some time so they can see what I've been up to.

VPRPWRD is helping me with a lot of the background information, his help has been incredible. You will also see on his truck, he has added a lot of pictures. Someday, I hope others will do the same, but again, there is no requirement to do so.

Feel free to ask specific questions, I will do my best to answer them

Vj

It looks like you have a VTR # already so use the search box at the top with your VTR # and your truck's thread will come up.

Here it is:

You can also use your screen name

Good answers

You can search on just about anything, but those three items will limit the results to what you are looking for

Joe, tell me whats on your mind. It's always good to read what people are thinking.

I'm open to all comments even the ones I may not like. If it helps improve the experience, I always give it the benefit of the doubt. I have considered doing the same thing with the Registered Vipers and Viper Trucks that I do with the Build Numbers and Build dates. If you have a Viper or Viper Truck that is Registered, you automatically have access to additional area's. Thats an easy change.

All eyes here, let me know

Looks like after my break, I need to finish adding all the Registered Vipers and Viper Trucks to the correct area. Ones with no owners will be put in the contributor section and listed with the VIN (this will help Andy)

I love changes, can you tell???

Believe me , there is very little on my mind......I just have trouble figuring where everything is.... I checked all the vins you had posted as threads, couldn't find mine. I wasn't sure why all those trucks had there own thread, if that makes any sense. I got home after playing last night and just wanted to see who was around.....I was met with a wall of vin#s....Yikes! Since I couldn't sleep and had nothing better to do , I broke out my ins. card and tried to look up my rig.

Yea, it is crazy........

I was looking to see what I could do to prevent them from showing up in the new posts section till I'm done

I finished running reports on all the CEs this morning. I will start inputting that data later today and the plan is to have them finished by the end of next week.
