If your looking up VIN's already posted, just post in that thread for that VIN. If your finding ones that I haven't started a thread for, go ahead and start a thread in the non registered section under the correct year (I will see it). Then I can add what I know to what you find.

Hope that makes sense

TheOl 55 01-07-2013 04:16 PM

Not Really............... :hmmm2:

ViperJeff 01-07-2013 05:32 PM

I'll use pictures when I get home :bleh:

TheOl 55 01-07-2013 05:41 PM

Do i need my Crayons?

ViperJeff 01-07-2013 08:51 PM

:sorrysign:maybe????????

ViperJeff 01-07-2013 09:19 PM

So, here is what I'm thinking.

Lets say you see a for sale ad VIN #3D3HA16H44G280355

So, you do a search for that VIN

http://www.viperregistry.com/forum/p...&pictureid=330

and you add a new post of what you found

The results would be

http://www.viperregistry.com/forum/p...&pictureid=331

So you follow the link to:

http://www.viperregistry.com/forum/p...&pictureid=332

And you add what you learned or just supply a link

http://www.viperregistry.com/forum/p...&pictureid=333

TheOl 55 01-08-2013 07:44 AM

Looks Simple enough, I will give that a try!

chaynick 01-08-2013 09:13 AM

tried my VIN and found nothing. what does it mean?:)

ViperJeff 01-08-2013 10:01 AM

I only have about 3000 entered to date. Also, if you for those that are "Registered" the VIN is remove and lookup is done by the VTR-XXXX number or screenname.

Chaynick, I did check and I haven't uploaded yours yet, I will do it first thing tonight.

It's been a good few days, I have all but about 300 of the non Registered 2004 Viper Trucks uploaded to the online search. Then to add all the Registered 2004's. Should be working on the 2005's by next week (I Hope). Thats going to take a bit longer.....yikes

TheOl 55 01-10-2013 02:31 PM

ViperJeff 01-18-2013 01:17 PM

This weekend should be a fun one... It's going to be cold and with the inversion, I'm just staying inside. The plan will be to have all the non registered 2005's done. So those that are Registry Contributors, you will see a lot of new threads, maybe just a little over 2000 or so (Sorry)

The list is coming to life real fast

ViperJeff 01-19-2013 03:37 PM

Just a little over 1300 non registered 2005 Viper Trucks have been uploaded... ashooting for 2500 by the end of the day

SneakyPete 01-19-2013 04:01 PM

Work faster

ViperJeff 01-21-2013 10:49 AM

ViperJeff 01-22-2013 08:59 AM

Got a lot done over the weekend. Worked pretty hard on the Build Date Calendar. I think this week I'm going to try and finish off the calendar so that part will be done

TheOl 55 01-22-2013 10:20 AM

Andy has a lot of added Value!

VPRPWRD 01-22-2013 10:24 AM

Speaking of me, I will be finishing the pre release 06s this morning. I will then move on to running carfax reports on the suspected total loss trucks. This would not all be possible if it wasn't for Jeff. You are truly creating a one stop shop for anyone who wants to buy or is just plain interested in the history of these cars and trucks. :D

TheOl 55 01-22-2013 10:28 AM

Been saying that about Jeff all along!

ViperJeff 01-22-2013 10:37 AM

Just doing my part

ViperJeff 01-24-2013 02:04 PM

Tonight, I think I'm going to add 2006's just for the fun of it.

VPRPWRD 01-24-2013 02:16 PM

and send me a list of CE's to get started on ;)

ViperJeff 01-24-2013 02:26 PM

Oh yea..... I forgot

TheOl 55 01-25-2013 07:54 AM

DAMN! You've Been BUSY!!

ViperJeff 01-25-2013 08:16 AM

A little here and there

joemags54 01-25-2013 10:50 AM

If I want my vin part of the registry, I have to pay a fee? Just asking....no problem... Thanks Jeff.

ViperJeff 01-25-2013 11:48 AM

No!

No one is required to pay to be added to the Registry. I will add and maintain anyone for free. Anyone that Registers a Viper or Viper truck, I actually remove the VIN from the web site to help maintain privacy unless the owner doesn't care and adds it themselves.

However...

The history portion of the of the board requires that one be a contributor. I've set up a number of different levels so if someone wants to do a quick search over a month time frame they can (and it's like 5 bucks). Is what a lot of you are seeing, is I have also added the ability for me to give new registrations a 30 day trial if you will so they can see what everything is about. I've also done that with people who have been here for some time so they can see what I've been up to.

VPRPWRD is helping me with a lot of the background information, his help has been incredible. You will also see on his truck, he has added a lot of pictures. Someday, I hope others will do the same, but again, there is no requirement to do so.

Feel free to ask specific questions, I will do my best to answer them

It looks like you have a VTR # already so use the search box at the top with your VTR # and your truck's thread will come up.

Here it is:
